Nuestra Institución Educativa Alfred Nobel fue creada el 20 de setiembre de 1995 por su promotora y fundadora Daria Vila Huaroc, quien preocupada por la educación de los niños y adolescentes de Vitarte, se propuso brindarle la oportunidad de una educación de calidad que convine el conocimiento y los valores humanos.
Es por ello, que mediante Resolución Directoral N° 1481 se crea la Institución Educativa Alfred Nobel en el nivel primaria, que a los pocos años amplió sus servicios mediante Resolución Directoral N° 1194 y 2938. En la actualidad nuestro colegio ofrece a la comunidad de Ate los niveles de inicial, primaria y secundaria en un local escolar construido en 5, 200 mts de terreno, específicamente creado para brindar servicio educativo, con campos deportivos de fulbito, vóley y básquet, con aulas amplias debidamente ventiladas e iluminadas.
